Default 50 or 75 shot?

Has anybody ever herd of someone blowing there motor on this amount of nitrous? All my mods are in my sig and I have my truck tuned. I want to spray a 50 or 75 shot without a retune I'm just afraid something will blow? Truck has 77,000 miles on the clock if that helps and it's a wet system.

depends on how much timing you have in it already.

I heard they like to pull around 1* for each 50hp shot. Also I've read that you don't really feel anything under 100 shot, so if you are getting retuned I'd go bigger

i agree with all of the above i have ran nitrous on a couple of set ups and if i was you i would at least run a 100 shot and i am telling you from experience you can run 150 take 4* timing run tr6 plugs and run it off of a window switch and it wont hurt a thing. i had my 4.8 full bolt on with 220 224 cam with a 150 shot and the only thing that happen to that motor was i had an ls6 spring get week and had some piston valve action and that motor had 160k plus

id run no less than a 100 shot IMO... and if you already have a tune contact the tuner too see were the timing is to find out if that shot will be fine at the timing that have it at... i run a 125 shot on stock tune well everything is stock not one problem ... but do that and get some tr6's and go spraying away
