Default 5.3 + nitrous = 10s or 11s?

My buddy has a 2003 or 2004 RCSB 2wd, 5.3 w/ 218/220 (or 224/226 not sure which till he finds the cam card) .596/.598 113, trail blazer converter, and 3.73s.
Say one was to put a 300 shot on this, would it have enough to break 10s?
plans are a Stand alone fuel setup running either Methanol, 112 or 116oct.
Later on do a vr jr intake or something with a direct port stuff. but for now on that setup, what do yall think it will do besides puke the 60E.. Which im 99.9999999% sure its gonna cough 2nd gear.

Truck runs 13.6s right now.

he has a NOS progressor already on the truck from his last kit.. but he wants to do it right this time. and eventually go direct port and 400 on two stages i think,

It's a race of what explodes first. I think on a similar shot spike had a 5.3 in the high 10s but it was gnarly. I would guess 11s.

I have seen a stock 5.3 with a 200 shot go 11.9 I dont see why not a 10 sec pass on a 300 shot alot of guys on tech are hitting stock 5.3 with that much. Make sure the tune is right and a good fuel pump.
