Default 5.3 and 150 pills

how many of you guys have sprayed 150 through your 5.3 and held up? I am gonna try it this coming weekend. My tuner is gonna take some timing out and we are gonna run race gas through it, probably 110. The engine is for the most part stock, with dual exhaust, custom intake setup, tune, and a walbro 225 intank. I am not gonna leave it on the truck, just have a few people that want to lose some money

Any input is appreciated.

As I've come to understand it, the engine will be aboslutely fine under the juice, but the transmission will under some amount of undue stress. I'd be more worried about the tranny...

well, if the tranny goes...no big deal. Ill replace it, i would like to have a built 4l60e anyhow. I guess i could use the excuse of the engine letting loose to buy a 6.0. I wanted to hear some stories from your guys point of veiw

Started spraying my 5.3 at 130K miles, ran 3X bottles of 100 shot through it, and a couple bottles of 150 shot through it. When I pulled the motor it looked perfect. Go for it. I was running 31 or 32*s of timing on the 100 shot and 93 most call BS but thats what Allen Nelson told me he had it set at. Dont know what it was at on the 150 a good bit lower I would assume.

just make sure you don't run any leaded fuel cause that will kill o2 sensors quickly.the only unleaded fuel i know of is 104
