how much spray can a 350 vortec hold up to? Askin bc i have a good friend who is in the process of puttin a kit on one. Also, this engine will be carbed rather than the stock fuel injection crap.

Did he do something with the tranny, the reaso i ask is because me and my brother and law carbed his 97 and the tranny would not shift auto, had to shift it himself so he went back to fuel injection, and im really not sure how much nos it will handle we are also in the process of spraying his

there is a guy on full size chevy with a 150 shot on a stock vortec and thats rwhp not hp at the motor . its all in the getting the tune dialed in from what i here and c-12 at those hp levels

I had 2 buddies that both had 98 RCSB with vortec 350's and held MANY bottles at 150 shot. Ran the guts out of it for years and never had a problem.

Good deal thin. thats kinda what he was wantin to put on it. Do these come with forged pistons like the ls motors? Also, are they roller motors or flat tappet like the older 350s?

i am very happy with the tuneing i have a basic 91 tune no "TM" with just a few tweeks . on thing i dont like is there is no phone number so everthing is done threw email . but customer service is great and my truck runs better then my superchips i had before .

true dat. I have a nelson tune and he locks his pcm so i cant have any body tweak it. But i have a guy who said that black bear doesnt lock his and i can get there tune and have him install it and play around with it to get the best out of it. He has efi live and has done a couple peoples rides.

Besides i have asked nelson to change my AFR and they havnt. I am getting around 14.7 crusin. And barely jumps to 13s at WOT. To conservative.
