Default 1st Time N2O User, Need Kit Suggestions

OK I have never used spray before but have been looking around. It will be going on my truck in my sig. Im not gonna add spray though until i put on milled 243 heads, a 220/224 or 224/230 cam, stall, and a tbss intake. Ive been looking at the LS 3 bolt spray kits that are out there. Now I know when spray is used timing has to be removed, not worried about this, i have an awesome tuner. Im just looking for which kit would be the best suited for my needs in relation to price/performance. Im looking to run either a 50-75 shot, but no bigger than a 125 shot. Also, im not sure whether or not when i put on the tbss intake whether ill use an adapter plate for the 78mm or use the tbss tb (which i believe I have), but ill use the one that will work the best for the setup as a whole. any suggestions are appreciated.

Well either plate would work great for you but if you are going to run the TBSS manifold it would be better suited for you to run the 90mm plate. That way if you do end up running the TBSS throttle body you wont have to worry about changing the plate.

One other option for you would be to run a single nozzle system so that no matter what intake manifold you run it will work the same without having to worry about the plate.

i usually piece together my kits from multiple vendors. stick with the big names and you'll be fine. i wouldnt buy a kit that limits you to a 125 shot. the stuff is addicting, and the high from a 125 shot will only last about 2 bottles before you want more.

im just worried about my low end power running a tbss tb, thats why i was thinking about sticking with a 78mm. are you talking about using the tbss manifold with your 90mm n2o plate and a 78mm-90mm adapter plate on that if i chose to use the 78mm?

the reason why i want just a small kit, 50-125 shot is cuz i have the 4l60 stock with a vette servo. i saw an episode of trucks where they did a 50-125 shot and when the used the 125 shot the tranny started messing up. so i figure i would just stay around the 75 continuously and use the 100 or 125 once in a while. i would piece together a kit (ebay and a friend has a couple kits) but i know jack about n2o and dont know what to get lol

Yes you would want to use the 90 mm plate if you went with the TBSS manifold and a 78 mm throttle body.
