Hey guys, just ordered my new Magnum Roller rockers and with that done I will be done upgrading/re-enforced the whole valvetrain. Next up I want to do a 150 wet shot of nitrous on stock pistons, rods and crank. Is there anything I should worry about before doing the set up?

 

An ignition box to retard the timing at least 4 degrees. Put some plugs in that are a stage or 2 colder than stock. Make sure to run a high octane fuel 91 or better.

 

Yeah Im doing the plugs and getting it tuned and ready for the 91octane fuel for sure. What brands out there are good for ignition boxes I use to have a street fire msd box but didn't really like it because of the wiring mess so I sold it, what would you recomend?

 

Cheapest way is to lock it in to the tune and retard it permanently. Otherwise you have to get a retard box like the msd 8970
