A plate is a good idea but not needed if you don't have the extra money.

It is ideal to have the nozzel pointing directly at the throttle plate as apposed to sprayin into the elbow and possibly making fuel or nitrous accumulate on the wall of the intake tube.

Before the elbow makes it spray directly into the elbow.

plate hits harder, and gets a better pattern in the intake for a better mix. you will get more HP/TQ out of a plate in the same shot. call dave's n2o outlet, and talk to those guys about it.

You sir are very correct I personally seen on 2 different F-bodies, a 21hp and a 17 hp gain on a nozzle to a plate conversion... same solenoids, lines, jets, everything just routed hoses from nozzle into the plate. One had an NX kit with shark nozzle and FAST 90mm, the other an NOS kit and LS6 manifold. And times went down as well, but i dont recall exactly how much.

i agree. i picked up a full second in the 1/8th with my plate and 150. most guys pick up about 8 tenths with a nozzle and 150 hitting it right out the hole.

AGREE'D I would not trust a shark nozzle to keep the fuel suspended through that rubber 90 and all the way to the end of the inside of the intake.
