Yes, you will need to either retard the timing (3-4deg) or use higher octane fuel.

For plugs go to a NGK br6ef

I run 93oct but can get 100oct. i have TR5 plugs in now. what is the diff
between the EF and EFS plugs ? can i run those plugs on the street
in a DD without throwing a code or fouling up ?

Not to steal your thread but I have a 4.8 but I want to spray a 150 shot at with a standalone fuel system using C 16. What plugs would you recommend for that. Thanks

You guys need to post mod specifics...bone stock truck, 100-150 is probably fine on stock tune with the right plug and fuel. Sixshooter gave us absolutely nothing to go by.

TR5 is a projected tip, the br6ef is a colder heat range and a non projected tip plug. No, it will not have any noticeable adverse effects.

There is a lot of spark plug info here.

I dropped my timing 6 degress and I'm running a 150 shot. I went with E3 spark plugs as well. Are you doing a direct port or into throttle body?

Trying to learn as much as I can for running nitrous in the future, just thought I'd point out that I have heard horrible things and had a bad experience with e3 plugs. But that was in a SBC. My gf is having some issues with her mustang currently and she is also running e3 plugs. We will replacing them with stock plugs.
