Yep, I'm from Texas, too... and yet another Lightning as well...
Came in from TALON, where site pimping isn't too badly curtailed; I'm a bit surprised with NLOC for what they did, but oh, well.
Mine's nothing special, an '01 that's stock except for the catback and (as of last week) a lowering kit/sway bar... but I do lurves it.

What did NLOC do??? Besides move my post's about this site....

Personally, I autocross with the SCCA: it's a whole lot of fun, and I don't cook my brakes like I can on the open track (at least 'til I can afford a nice BBK).
Check with your local organizations (HALO comes to mind), and see what they have going.
