My project is a 1984 long wheel based GMC Sierra with a wore out 305. UnVmy5.3 & my dad got it painted for me as a gift earlier this year but she isnt done yet! The paint job has a brown metallic on top and tan metallic on bottom with almost a royal purple pinstripping in the middle.It has 14 inch wide m/t drag radials on the rear. The plan is to do interior black with purple stitching & a 8.1 swap 3,000 stall and a 14 bolt rear.
Another reason why I joined this site was because I really enjoy mechanics.I enjoy it due to working with my dad @ his mechanic/towing business for many years now.To further my knowledge and skill I joined the army guard to be a mechanic which this truck was repainted as a welcome home present.
