Speeking like a true dodge guy. I just know my power to weight ratio. Something that weights a little under 5000 lbs and has 415hp is not running 12.9. Maybe if it weights 3000 lbs it would be a 12.9 car. Why would they make the jeep faster than there challengers?

its 425hp butways whats helps them with better times is the AWD, looser 3000 stall from factory with 3.73 gears when the charger and 300c srt8 dont have that opition and come with 3.06 gears from factory. The 3.06 isnt for the 1/4 it way better from high rolls. throw the srt8 jeep converter and 3.73 in the srt8 cars and they will hit mid 12s all day.

if ya know anything about 1/4 mile race ya will know what helps is the 60' ft. Throw some gears and stall on a high HP car and it will run badass 60ft and great e/t. Getting a 4400lb cars off the line with 3.06 gears doesnt help in the e/t and they still pull a low 13, but on the street and high roll they will have top end

Anyone hating on the SRT8 Jeeps has never lined up beside one. They move there butt very well, I have seen lots of them pull 13.1's bone stock so I'm sure with someone who knows how to drive it is very possible to shave .2 tenths off of that time

if anyone runs one run them from a roll which they are still fast but from a dig they will jump out on ya and they have the motor to keep pulling.

im glad you seen that cause im not trying to make this a dodge vs GM thing cause i always speak the truth. I dont lie to make mopar look good, i give GM credit for have such good motor and good aftermarket but i just want everyone to know not everything mopar is slow

A stock SRT8 jeep would rape my truck from any roll or dig run. I've raced a guy that I used to work with that had one, and that thing moved out hard.

I raced a new Challenger R/T 6 speed and crushed him. That is why I am having a hard time with a "STOCK" jeep running 12's.... I just need to see it to believe it.

And yes I know a good converter can shave .5 sec. off your quarter mile time but thanks for the lesson.

I think it's rare to see 12s, but they definitely run low 13s bone stock. They pull very low 60fts and continue pulling hard the whole way down the track.
