Hey guys, 2001 5.3 fresh build still working on some things powertrain wise.
So far complete bearing and ring replacement with polished crank and a light hone. 4.8 sealedpower pistons, tsp stage 1 lowlift truck cam, milled 243 heads with ls6 springs. Longtubes and off road y into a flowmaster 40.
I have a set of electric fans and a yank 3000 stall in the shop. I dont know anyone local so i ordered a blackbear tune to check it out. So far the truck runs well other than throttle tip in confusing the ecm a bit off idle and some p0300 codes. Still getting 16 mpg and its got some grunt
