Newbie, or maybe not...

...but back in GM trucks again.
First, last week we sold my wife's 04 Expedition Eddie Bauer and one day later replaced that with an 07 Escalade.
Then, last Saturday I bought an 03 Silverado RCSB 5.3L 2WD.
Good to be back!
And on to the pics.

Thanks, guys!
No plans really for the Caddy. That's her baby now and I don't think I dare to touch it.
She hardly lets me even drive it! Maybe a bit bigger wheels (20" or 22"), but that's about it.
The Silverado? Well... That's another thing.
The MB seen in the background will wither be retired or sold (Anybody want to buy nice S-class MB?
)and the truck will become my DD.
Just looking more reliability than performance. For now... First thing is a tranny rebuild. It still works fine, but there is some slip in the 2-3 shift every now and then. But since Jason at TDP supposedly works also on autos nowadays, I'm should be good to go.
Performance wise it does have a Flowmaster exhaust dumped at the rear axle, but that's it. Maybe headers, small cam (LS6, maybe...), springs etc. I guess a tune would also be a good idea.
As far as appearance goes, slightly bigger wheels will be one of the first ones to happen. After that, I'm not sure. I also use it as a truck (hauling stuff and even pulling trailer), so no big drops etc. Maybe level it off, better shocks and so on.
