Default newbie here!!! need performance parts :D

hi guys i have an 03 silverado 5.3 lt ecrb with 30k miles on it and im looking to make this truck run 13's. anymods guys???? btw im going to purchase hptuners and i need some tips on tuning my truck. how do i remove my rpm limiter, speed limiter, and give it more power???? thanks in advance guys!

Well... first we need to know if you want to stay N/A(all motor) or , if you want to go F/I(supercharger/turbo) or nitrous.

There are a bunch of different ways to get your truck to run 13s. We just need to know in which direction to get you started.

Get tuning software and 4.10s, those will provide the biggest gains, IMO.....

all engine im an old school no forced induction kinda guy the most ill do is spray but i want to have my motor a beast within im purchasing hptuners to tune my truck and other peoples truckwhats the basics i need to know before i do anything i will regret later on?

Well then you could easily hit 13s with a a good bit of bolt-ons, a nice cam, stall, and a good tune. I run a 14flat in my ecsb with the above^^ mods, and I was a t full weight, I have a sort-of small stall and street tires.

With a bigger stall(ex: 3200 fuddle), 4.10s, and some slicks I'd be low/mid 13s at full weight, even a lil bit quicker with some weight reduction.

look in the Gm tuning section and you will find TONS of info on HPtuners software.

Also look through the Hp tuners forum. It might be easier to ask what you can't do with HPT.

EFI Live FTW!!!!!












Either EFI Live or HP Tuners, both will do the same thing!!!
