hello everyone, name is Robert and I'm from stillwater, ok. I've got two chevy trucks and one ford p.o.s. Looking to make my 04 Avalanche a street monster with a turbo or two and looking to swap out my 5.3 for something bigger. Only thing is truck will be lifted and on 38's.

I trying to figure out if I need to change over to a 6.0L or bigger or if my 5.3 will handle the beattin I wanna give it. I wouldn't mind a good lope at the stop light and I want it to come alive when I press the skinny pedal..

Turbo 5.3L's have been shown to be very stout. Rick@Synergy made close to 800 rwhp on his 5.3L turbo.
