Default newb from arkansas

My name is Josh. I've been a member here for quite a while but never introduced myself so i finally got around to it but hey on to the good stuff right
1986 Chevy silverado w/ vortec heads air gap intake comp cams .480 lift street avenger 670 carb with a D.U.I. distributor backed up by a built 700r4 with 2500 stall and a 3.42 geared 10 bolt. We only have a 1000ft. track around here and it runs 11.7 with a 2.1 60ft having to baby it out of the hol with a single legger. Hope to have posi installed within a couple months to see if i can drop the 60 ft. time to 1.90 or so.

Welcome! nice looking truck, I really like those 80's model swb chevy's. I have a 1984 K-10 Silverado myself with a 383 Stroker. I'm trying to sell it tho since I don't get to drive it much anymore and I need the money.

The wheels are actually 18x10 aftermarket mustang style bullit wheels. Had to use spacers that adapted bolt patterns but they turned out perfect as far as backspacing.
