Default New to the truck site

I've been a member of LS1tech.com for years. In the middle of a LSX 454 99 SS buildup, the engine should be here next week from LME can't wait!!!

But yesterday I just became the very proud owner of a 04 Yukon, low miles, Loaded with everything but DVD (do people really need pedals that move?) and rolling on 22's.

Once I finish the SS and she is in hibernation I might have to get a few goodies for the Yukon...I mean an intake, headers and exaust all increase gas mileage right

Look forward to hanging out here and hopefully contributing something to the "knowledge"

Bobby

Welcome! I've had an '03 and an '05 Tahoe, both LTs. I loved 'em. Congrats on yours!

Sounds like your SS is about to be a beast! Keeping in NA or going FI?

Keeping it NA for now. Hoping with a very mild setup to put around 575 to the wheels. Obviously 600 would be nice for bragging rights but trying to be realistic A blower of even nitrous will be awhile. I took the roll bar out and made more of a "driver" out of it. The cam, clutch etc were all chosen to make it fun to go out to dinner in it if you know what I mean. The MTI all bore 388 I had in it, Spec clutch and suspension I used to have in it was a little rough.

Funny I wanted a TB SS there was a new 07 1SS for 26500 here in Portland. the wife felt it was too small for my huge family of 1 child. But I'm happy with the Yukon it basically looks new except for the grill which will be swapped for a Denali grill soon anyways That is an IMPRESSIVE time slip on that SS!!!!!!!

Thanks, my wife and I have 2 boys. The TBSS suites us well. I miss my Tahoe at times... except when I'm at a red light with a WRX or a GT Mustang next to me
