Default New from Texas

What’s up Fellars, just bought a truck this month and plan on learning every nut and bolt on it (have zero experience other than brakes and oil changes, but I’m determined to learn), I already started with the interior (it’s down to the bare metal, dash, carpet, headliner).

Don’t really know many people into gas trucks, most are all diesel dudes. If anyone is near the Midlothian area and is down to turn some wrenches and grill out. Let me know.

Welcome.. good looking truck! If you're surrounded by diesel dudes, it's because all the gas truck guys are in Houston and surrounding areas.

Someotherguy I see Houston has a big truck scene. I go to the Cleetus and cars in Houston and hope I can have this build ready by next year.

Yes sir. I’m looking to do a show build(paint, interior, suspension, etc).

As for the powertrain..Not sure what tranny yet. Plan on doing a whipple supercharger for sure.
Before I do any of that, I need to find out what the safest amount of power I can apply to a full time Awd without destroying my differential. I wish it had a 4wd & 2wd option which would make it easier.

I planned on asking some of these questions this weekend, but there doesn’t seem to be much action going on in this forum.
