Did he do a boosted 4x4 launch? My dmax runs high 13's and my room mates truck felt close to it the one time I got him to launch it in 4x4 but he only ran it maybe 3-400 ft. He spooled it to 25-2600 rpm and it hooked up 100%. Does yours have the electric locker?

 

Damn, that would be crazy to get mine to that rpm, anything past 1800 and I spin like crazy. I do believe mine does have the e locker in the rear.

Those are pretty good numbers. I am a Chevy fan but have alot of respect for those Ecoboost trucks.

 

I never would have thought these trucks were so heavy. After my misbelief we took it to get weighed and it makes that 8.8 even more impressive. I think with some traction and a spooled launch he will be pissing a lot of people off.
