Default new from texas

hi guys. I have a 2000 f150 4.6 bone stock what you guys suggest to do first to wake her up . any comment advice are welcome thanks

welcome, what part of texas are you from? i say pull the 4.6 and drop a new motor but others may say different. either way there are a ton of people on this site with some good advice on helping you achieve your goals.

Not too surprising, I had all of the bolt-ons on the Bronco in my sig, and it was still a turd past 3000rpm. But then again, the 5.8 liters of displacement only made 200hp so it might not be the best engine out there.

welcome.....You can wake that 4.6 up with bolt-ons, but the easiest and most effective is to go the supercharger route. However, you will see some nice gains with intake, exhaust w/ long tube headers, cams, port work on the heads, and a good custom tune. Another thing I would do is to swap to the PI heads, if I remember right they switched to the new head design in either 2000 or 2001 in the trucks, so you may already have the better heads.
