just figured i would introduce myself, as well as, compliment the members of this board.

my name is Sam and i'm from Chicago, but i'm currently on campus at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where i'm studying engineering.

i originally wanted to transplant a gm v8 into a 240sx, but traded it for a '90 rx7 do to more available info and parts. i have been searching ls1tech for awhile now for info and pricing. and recently have been searching threads on this forum. i'm deciding between an lt1, ls1, 5.3l iron or alum, and 6.0l swap w/ a t56. either way i plan on driving it stock (as stock as a hybrid can be) with a possibility for forced induction down the road ("hi, my name is Sam and i'm a boostaholic, thanks for having me at this meeting")

i plan on starting this project early may. i will document it in the hybrid section of ls1tech.com, i thought people on here might be interested. thanks in advance for any info that the members here provide.

 

welcome to the site, now your best bet is buy a 6.0 that comes with a truck and leave it in there

figured truck enthusiasts might be offended by my plans, but i figured any info that i can put together might be useful for others.

never really too into trucks, but after reading up on some of these threads... a silverado is looking mighty nice...
