New to the scene

Hey...I'm from Eufaula, Ok...pretty much a small, boring town with nothing to do. I have a 2006 Chevy Silverado with an STS Turbo system pushing about 9 Pounds of boost. It's definetely a work in progress but I'm pretty satisfied with it. I'm new to the performance truck scene. I basically started off with cold air, and a tuner. You can only do so much with bolt-ons so I've tried moving on to the next level. A lot of ppl have asked me why I didn't just go with a supercharger due to some of the downfalls of a turbo. Yeah, it has a little lag but not enough to really make a difference. Plus the sound turns heads anywhere I go. I really wish I knew how to get a better low end because my takeoff isn't where it needs to be. But, like I said it's a work in progress. I hope to gain some advice and some extra knowlege from guys on here who have past experiences with similar things.

Welcome!... Sounds like you need a stall to help get into boost a little faster. Don't let DozerDan see that STS.
He wants one bad, if he hasn't said screw it and bought one already....
We are slowly planing an Oklahoma Get-Together if you are interested. Here is the thread. https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...47#post3693947

We are a bunch of rednecks here in Oklahoma. To us there is nothing better than slick pickup trucks. Well maybe beer. But hell, that goes hand in hand with trucks
