Hey all,

BP here. I am a long time member over at 67-72chevytrucks.com due to my ongoing 68 C10 project.

But I also have a daily driven 2006 Silverado 2wd ECSB with a 5.3 I would like to wake up.

So far I have swapped the stock chrome face 16" wheels for GM 20's.
GMPP cold air intake, single in/dual out 40 series flowmaster with turn downs.
Swapped my 3.23 rear gears for 3.73
Truck runs good, but I want more. I am looking for a little more power, but nothing radical cause I do drive it daily. Currently get about 15 - 15.5 mpg average on 87

I am thinking of doing a cam swap, and was also wondering if there a enough gains for my application to look into headders and maybe true dual exhaust.
Also, y'all seeing any real help for simple stuff like a TB spacer.

I am gonna start digging around here and see what y'all are doing or have done.

If anyone knows of good threads that apply, I would appreciate the info.

Thanks

I don't think TB spacers help out these motors. Welcome to the site! A good way to wake up that beast, is by getting a tune from one of our vendors in here! Site has lots of useful information as you will see.

Welcome over! Yeah, skip the spacer and go for a tune, Wheatley, Nelson and Blackbear are all sponsors on the right ===>

Lots of great information on here, just read up for a while and you can get an idea of what is out there and what fits your budget.
