@1FastBrick How would that work? Didn't someone do this before a long time ago?

@CarbonRanger You get the neutral safety switch mounted up yet?

The TBSS used the old class 2 communication protocol. Then you use a 6 speed shifter and wire in what's needed and a 2006/7 classic 8.1L gas cluster because they used a 6 speed Allison.

It has been done several times.

Current Performance will modify your engine harness or make you a new one. But they need your existing factory harness to build it.

The 1 guy that showed it on here was in Mexico but He didn't share any details on how his was done.

Yeah I ended up finding your thread where you talk about it. Sucks but I doubt it would work with a 99-02, especially the gauge cluster.
I mean we are all over the gauge cluster in that 99-02 to 03-07 thread but we will never figure it out lol

@shakenfake negative, I just got back into town about 10 days ago and have just started rebuilding the LQ9, trying to get that in before sled season hits me up here in Alaska. Sometime here in the next few weeks or so I will have the NSS mounted on the 6l80e, sorry for the late reply.

Hello all,
Sorry for the absence, went through a lot of life changes over the past year or so and haven't been able to keep a good record of everything I have done to the truck.

But I have since gone a completely different route. I ended up building my LQ9 into a 408ci, and tried my hardest to get the 6l80e to work, but with very little help from Zero gravity, my tuner and I were not able to get a stall converter to work with the trans controller or even tune the trans passed the first trans tune that Zero Gravity gave me. I ended up getting a 4l80e from Monster Transmission for a good price, and am currently in the process of swapping that into the truck. Here soon after the engine is broken in and the trans is good, I will be installing a LSA supercharger.
