Hello my name is Michael and I'm reside in Clermont, FL.
Well I have been lurking around on this forum for a little bit just to see what everybody else does to their trucks. I am on another forum called GMT400. My truck is a 1998 Chevy C1500 originally with a 5.7L vortec. My dad has wanted to do a project with me forever to spend time together. The truck was a work truck for some guy for 203K miles, with only 10K miles on the new engine according to the PO. However when we removed it we knew that was not the case, rust all over the cylinders, water pump was dry, cracked flexplate. So that is when the addiction started..... First thing we did was lower the truck 4/6 on Boss 338 20" chrome wheels and start shaving the truck. Then the performance truck aspect was added, the carbed Chevy 383 stroker was put in making 460hp and 470 ft lbs of torque. Every aspect of electronics was removed from the truck except the ac and radio. I will make a build thread to keep this short. Here is a picture of the truck. Everything has been done in our 2 car garage.

Welcome from Cocoa Florida via Seattle Wa. Out here working. I fly home every now and then to get a dose of Florida sunshine.
