Hey I have just acquired the truck I dream of, well I think its the one lol. I have performed a few LQ swaps into friends rcsb but now I have my own. I bought it without a motor but lucked out with it having a TCI 4l80E transmission. The truck had a Supercharged LQ4 with CNC'd Edelbrock heads but the seller wanted to keep it and I bought the truck without.

I am leaning towards a TVS2300 for the truck but the dark side of me would love a turbo 4x4 truck..... S475..... We will see

I had dibs on that truck but passed it up. I might live to regret that. The truck has great potential.

I'd take the LQ4 and bore it to a 370 with forged pistons. I'd shoot for around 9.5:1 and put a turbo on it, however a 2300 would be pretty awesome too. Having 4WD is a big plus around here where the pavement is often cold. You might want to consider 1 7/8" headers as I made some decent gains with them.
