Get upgraded rods too. The stock "I" beam rods don't like a ton of boost and power.

It has 4th gen rods but has hyperunetic pistons those are my fear with boost. Going to try and swap them before I get to crazy

Scat has a budget replacement rod that should be stronger. Keep in mind the OEM is a powdered metal and the Scat will be a 4340.

OP, good call on forged pistons. Going with forged rods as previously suggested would be added insurance. We would recommend Scat SCA-26125716 6.125 in. length connecting rods. These have a .927 in. pin which is common for aftermarket pistons. Another rod option would be our Summit Pro LS connecting rods. We would recommend the SUM-LS6125927. This is a 6.125 in. length rod with a .927 in. pin. These rods have been tested over 1,200 hp in boosted applications.

Our Summit Pro LS pistons would be a good candidate for this turbo build. We would recommend the SUM-299927400012 with a 12cc dish. These would net you around 9.2:1 compression with a 71cc 317 head. These are designed for a 6.125 in. rod with a .927 in. pin. These pistons are good as-is for up to 1,000 hp boosted.

We have the option of a Pro LS piston and rod kit that comes with rings. We would recommend the SUM-PR36L00012 which is a combo of the above-mentioned Summit rods and pistons.

I'm not going too crazy. Its my daily for now. 5-7psi street tune and will never see over 14 on this motor. Also will be fuel limited around 500whp just because I know I'll keep adding more boost till I run out of something when it hits the dyno.
