Hey friends... First time here, figured I might as well register since I can't leave ANYTHING stock. Just picked up a "family car" 02 Z71 Tahoe day before yesterday, already put exhaust (flowcrapper and 5" dump). Only other thing it REALLY needs is an STS setup and a converter, well, that and a small lift and some at least 35's. See, can't leave anything stock!!! Glad to be here!

well, there inlies your problem...you are trying to mod with the BlackBird in mind. +Mach 3 isn't gonna be easy, but I think we can get you close. LOL Nothing like riding in vehicle that weighs 6000lbs w/35" tires running in the 13's! Welcome to the truck side of going fast!Glad to see ya here.

 

Thanks a lot guys! dewmanshu, you goon, that is awesome man! The mrs. won't let me run 13's in the "family car" until the kid is born, and we have a house... I just need to win the lotto or something, OR sell the TA. *wink* She LOVES the sound of a turbo, and the fact that we have no problem introducing tail lights to most cars, but picking on innocent ricers in a 3 ton 4wd would be HOT. Spool it up son, spool it up!

Welcome, I want to put an STS kit on my wife's Tahoe too... problem is she can't know about it

 

Sounds like we're in the same boat! Best put the muffler after the downpipe. With a bullet before my T70 out back, it sounds deep but you can hear the turbo big time... spooled up... sounds like a ground jet, hence the name "Bad SR71" which are my license plates. =) Time for an STS, 6" on 35's.
