Default New here from Cali, 5.3 in a 69 Camaro

Hey guys
New here and hope i can get some help and good info on my swap.
I have a supercharged 383 that took a crap on me so I want to do a 5.3 in my 69 Camaro. I picked up a 03 5.3 from a silverado with harness but it does not have the computer, o2 sensors or the MAF. From what i understand, I have to use a 03 computer right?
My plans are ls6 intake, rails and injectors.(Need)
LS1 front accessories with brackets and pulleys.(I have)
Ls6 cam and springs(Need)
03 o2 sensors(Need)
03 MAF sensor (Need)
TKO 500 or 600 5 speed or T56 6 speed (Need) if cant aford it, I will use my Muncie 4 Speed.
a harness with new fuse box (Need)
new efi gas tank (Need)
and bunch of other stuff.......
and a tune
What els do i need to make this engine run? What is compatible and whats not.
If you have any of the stuff that i need just hit me up. PM or Email

Pretty much all parts are interchangeable with LS engines(4.8/5.3/6.0/LS1/LS2 Etc.)
Sounds like it will be a sweet ride.

May I ask why your going with the LS6 cam?

Oh and welcome to PT.net

sounds like a nice setup, there are alot better options out there than a ls6 cam....check out texas-speed to the right>> lots of cam choices there

Im not set on the cam and open to other options.

Its a baby cam, If your going to cam it, at least look into something around 216/220 114 LSA. The LS6 cam specs if its 04+ are 218/204 117.5 LSA, And you gain around 15rwhp from that cam or if you go with something like I said above or something like a 220/220 cam and get 30+rwhp..

Most guys use the LS6 cam for boost, they are very boost friendly because of the wider LSA..
