After 3 years off owning my 2012 GMC Sierra sle 5.3 finally going to start building the 5.3
2012 GMC Sierra 1500
Crew cab
Sle 5.3 v8 4x4
36000 miles
my truck is stock been takin care of it since day 1 only thing I did was add rims to it. An now I'm ready to build this 5.3 future plans are
Ported heads.
Cam w/stall converter
Full bolt ons
Tune
Some tranny work
And lowered it down don't like lifted trucks
Still deciding if I should keep the VVT but that's later down the road. I seen a lot off bad *** builds here and just going to see what work for me as a daily drive my truck.

The stock 6L80e is pretty beefy in stock form, I'm not saying it's the strongest thing out there but it's known to handle 400ish hp in many cases without really being an issue. A good converter and transmission tune will go a long ways.
