Default new guy from indiana

hey guys. came on here to get chevy 5.3 and 4.8 info..i dont have a truck just yet. im in the process of selling my 600rwhp duramax diesel and getting into a scsb 2wd truck and making it a street strip only truck. ive been browsing at some trucks and i realized how hard it is to find a single cab short bed with a 5.3 or even a 4.8. first question, how much better is a 5.3 then a 4.8?? and what kinda parts list am i looking at to get into the 11's?? im all new to the gas fuel injection v8 performance. any info would be thankful.

find the cheapest 4.8 truck you can find then switch in a 6.0, will save you alot of time and money getting into 11s..
