Yes sir. Idk when they went to VVT on that body style though. The 2014 has vvt and coupled with the 6speed was pretty potent when it didn't have 2000 lbs of equipment in it.

They have been VVT since they came out in 2007.5.

No AFM/DoD but just VVT.

low 12 second truck would be nice, anything faster than that is a bonus.... Idk, whatever a cammed, good intake, and smaller good turbo would net me. Really like the Borg Warner sxe stuff but I wouldn't be opposed to a ball bearing setup either. I've has some quick diesels the past few years and good turbo choice can definitely make or break having a fun street truck. Something I can surprise some of the decent modified street cars with?

I think that's a good place to be and totally doable with any of the setups above. I think the sxe's are badass. I think we are looking for the same thing lol. I am patient so I'll likely purchase in the Spring and locally so I can drive it before I buy. Oh edmonds and kbb are other good sites.

So let me throw another hypothetical at y'all. V6 to 6.0 4l80 swap all in one swing? Or would I be better off buying a V8 truck off the bat?

Well, I bought one. 2003 with a 4.8. PW, PL, PM. Tan cloth interior that's in good shape. All stock besides a carven muffler and tip. It's a 20 footer though. Has some dings and jeedsthe front clip straightened out a bit. But it's all there and runs good with AC and heat! Paid $3500.
