Just jumped on here, figured Id get into some trouble haha.
The names Joe, Im 28.. From Rochester NY, married, got a little 6 month old baby girl Makayla.. Im a motorcycle tech at a local shop, been there for about a year but Ive been workin on bikes for more then half my age. Im really into buildin custom's from the ground up though as a hobby.
I also run a motorcycle site based out of Rochester but it span's from Buffalo to Syracuse. Its called stuntfactoryx.com, the name throws alot of people off though. We have riders from beginners, to stunters, track day riders, travelers, guys that run supermoto, w/e.. you name it and we have it there.
Picked up an '03 Silverado reg cab, long bed from my best man at the start of summer '08. Its got a couple add-ons, nothin serious.. But I am looking to get a supercharger when I get cought up.
He told me there alot of great info on this forum.. Site looks good guys.

This is just my project.. My best man and I built a VTX1300 prostreet chopper over the course of last winter and got 2nd place in the full custom class at a local show.. The paint was Duplicolor, it had a fake seat (for the time being), and no front brake lol.. Its a one off 5 up 4 out rigid 240 prostreet rigid frame made by Ardcore choppers. It was there first 1300 frame, so they had to make a new jig just for my buddy, and it was to his specs.
We got the frame back from powdercoat 5 day before the show, and I still had to run the wires threw the handle bars, cut the wire harness in half, extend all 47 wires, and loom it from front to back, paint, shim, and mount everything on the bike..
This was our end result.. Oh yeah.. its got a 240 rear tire.

Yes its the same paint, it changes to more of a "rootbeer" color under different light, but the actual color is red

But Ill work on anything really.. Im more of a metric head than Harley though.
