just recently picked up a 1999 Silverado 2500 ext cab, im still currently deployed/stationed in South Korea so i havent had even gotten to drive it yet. i came down on orders for FT. SILL and decided i wanted to get my hands on a truck, and this one just kinda fell into my lap! threw a friend i was able to pick it up for 3k, its got a newly rebuilt 6.0L and rebuilt trans from a year ago, the body shows it age, but im not worried about it, its got a 3in body lift and its sitting on 36in tires.. dont know all that much about trucks, but i know the lq9/4 motor along with all the lsx series motors. had my father and uncle go check it out for me and were actually able to drive/tow with it for a weekend since we knew the seller, need a lil work but nothing i couldnt handle.. they are both ford guys and said it was a good deal.. i also own a 06 GTO M6..
