New guy with an ecsb
#1
Hey guys, I just bought a '00 ecsb with a 5.3l. I've had big plans for a while, but they were intended for my other project. I've been in the Subaru world for the last 5 years and ended up with this.

2008 Subaru WRX
30R'd with a built 5 speed making 400whp (walking on thin ice, lol)
I already had an '83 Silverado with a 350 and 700R4, which was slow...but meant for daily driving. I bought it for cheap and gave it a little TLC to bring it to where it is now. She's not pretty, but she was a cheap daily. I'm selling it to fund the new truck build.

I came to my senses after having a chat with my LS buddies and ended up buying one of their trucks. The original plan was to do a 5.3l/4l80e swap in my '83, but the price of doing that was adding up. I figured I could pick up the newer truck that already had a 5.3l/4l60e and make power for cheaper. That and I don't like messing with wiring harnesses. This truck is already running and driving with its 5.3 and the turbo kits bolt right up. The '83 just required too much work and my garage is too small. Here's what I'm working with. It's only got a flowmaster muffler on it using stock piping. Mileage is a little high at 194,000...but 5.3's are cheap enough.
