Just bought a 2000 Chevy short bed truck, single cab, 2wd,4.8, auto. Plans are to make it a drag racing truck for my son and I. I’ve roamed around the site a little bit. Lots of good info but I’m lost in the lingo. I believe my truck is a gmt 800. I'm seeing a lot of other abbreviations and have no clue what they all mean . I’m assuming the mean different body styles. Help

Welcome! I know drives me crazy. I think you are nbs and nnbs is 07 or later lol. Nitrous or turbo the girl! Oh new body style and new-new body style.

 

Plan is 4/6 drop,caltracs, turbo, need to figure out best combo for transmission and rear axle
