Hey all, Mike here from Chicago. Got new project a 56 chevy 3100 sitting on 04 tahoe frame and all still working 4x4. Idea for project is keep same look do a single turbo on the 5.3 vortec. As it sits now runs and drives, started the inside repatch and new floor boards and all. Doing ac and heat in it also. Let me know what you think.

 

Welcome aboard Mike. I love that body style. To have one sitting on a modern chassis is almost dream truck category for me, and being a 4X4 puts it over the top.

I'm old enough to remember when that is what a pickup truck looked like. No 4 doors and no chrome plated bow. Just an honest truck.

Real interested to see what you do with it.
