Hey everyone, I drive a 2010 GMC Sierra 5.3 6L80 4WD that is currently being built to be a good daily driver but with a little bit of power. I'm not planning on tearing into the engine right away, but I am looking to maximize power and fuel efficiency that my stock engine can handle. I've done some mechanical upgrades under the hood as far as intake upgrade and throttle body spacer and have the intent to put on headers, better exhaust and a tune eventually. Is there anyone out there doing a similar thing? Or are there any other ideas for increasing torque and horse? I'm still learning so anything helps.

Do you have a power goal or financial budget in mind?
Also do you know what axle ratio you have and what size wheels and tires?
I did the basic bolt one a few years ago and the most noticable difference was a custom tune from Atomic Fabrication and Performance.
Also post pictures or this Isn't as fun

The gear ratio is 3.42 and the tires are 285/55R20s/33s. As far as power goal, I'm not quite sure. I don't know what I'm really around at this point so its hard to say. Is it crazy to think i can get at least 400hp with mostly stock? I'm very familiar with mechanic work, just never really dove much deeper than rebuilds and repairs with OE parts. I figured I'd do bolt on so my tune can be as close to optimal performance as possible.
As far as the pictures go, i really need to get some uploaded but I had just bought the pickup about a month ago so i haven't taken any yet.
