New guy from Amarillo..
Hey guys, names Kevin, I'm from Amarillo, Texas. I recently purchased my first truck a 2000 Silverado with the 5.3 2wd Extended Cab, I've owned a few dsms, a 300zx, a supra and a few other vehicles, so the truck world is completely new to me, but so far I have no complaints..I'm going to doing some small body work, the previous owner thought ghost flames were cool 
Not 100% of the potential of the 5.3s, as I stated above the truck world is new to me, so I'll be looking into that more once I get the truck lookin better

you can get a 5.3 into the low 13's pretty easy with it still being a daily driver....you can get a lot more drastic with em and make em run a lot faster than that, but that's all up to you. to start off with though, look into a 6.0 lq4 or lq9 swap, that'll be the best bang for your buck!
