I have technically been a member for a while, but it was over on ls1tech more than on here. I used to have a heads/cam LS1 Camaro that I was always on tech for. That being said, I decided I was going to build something a little different around my area. That's where the truck comes in.

I bought a 2003 Silverado with like 225k miles, but the motor and trans will be swapped within a few months so that is not a big deal. I am currently building a 6.0 LQ4 to go in it. I cam across a great local deal on a Callies/Wiseco forged rods/pistons shortblock with ARP studs/bolts, and I'm finishing up the top end and miscellaneous stuff now. It will be accompanied by an 80e trans, and hopefully within the next year and half will be turboed as well. I will also be doing paint and body work during that process as well. This truck has been used as a truck so far, so it has its fair share of scratches and dings. So there are my basic plans, and here are some pics of what I'm starting with. I will start a build thread soon.
