How many miles per year do you drive? Gas is MUCH cheaper to build... If you just want a fast truck I'd say go gas. Diesel is FUN, but EXPENSIVE.

Dustin's setup is sick, but $$$$. I bet you are looking at a minimum of $30k to reach that point excluding buying the LMM. He gets some pricing that we won't see.
Thats what a DSP5 is for.

I have had my current truck since February 2011 and have barely put over 20k miles on it. 3k of that was to go home for Christmas in 2011. Granted Ive been deployed for 6 months but I have a 25 mile a day commute to work and back 5 days a week. Otherwise I can start driving my wifes car for other purposes after work.

My diesel shop, Diesel Addiction, would help me out some on prices but not to a "at cost". But the diesel would definately have 100 over injectors, Carillos, Mahle Race Cast pistons, Stage 2 SoCal heads, 366 & 483, Dual Cp3's, and all supporting mods. I know it'll cost but I will be keeping this truck once I build it so its one of those things, which would I want and be able to afford to have with my set budget of income? Wife will make 50k++ once she gets out of college in 3 years. Until then....
