Did you just throw the crate LS1 in or did you do a cam swap or anything before putting it in.

And I know how you feel about adding stuff to the DD, I'm on the prowl for a project vehicle as well.

Only changes to the crate engine was swapping out the GTO oil pan, windage tray, oil pickup & valve covers. Did not change the cam or anything else and probably won't do it either, plenty of power for a DD and pretty good MPG as well.
