Just found this forum yesterday. Been on the Fullsize forum. Looks like a great site. I can tell I have alot of reading to catch up on.
Just bought a 01 Z71 (white) ECSB 5.3. Put 40 series Flowmasters on it yesterday - love the new sound.
I owned a 86 Silverado, 305 4bbl for 10 years. Nothing fancy on the engine just nice sounding exhaust.
Can't wait to tinker with my new toy. Immediate plans are for a CAI (will take any suggestions) and a Nelson's tune.

welcome fellow ECSB guy. Look into doing all the free-mods first, that usually gets you good enuff to give you the sickness. then its all out time for the disease, cause modding is just that. a disease for which there is no cure. happy hunting.

i see its an 2001... first and foremost.. you got to get some LS1 Efans!! get that MPG up.. it has to be the best mod.. do a lil research. you will love it..

I am all to familiar with the 'disease'. It actually hit me the first time I stomped on it from a stand still. It was like I was waiting on something to happen, you know, i had time to take a drink of my coffee, light a cig. Then finally i would feel the engine pull.
But I am fighting two choices on mods. One is i want my truck to unique from an outside appearance. Not just the same old white Z71 around the block. Here in Texas alot of people have the bowtie in the front with a Texas Flag sticker, or i have seen the color blue or red or black. I haven't seen a white one yet, so i am on the look out for one of those. Other than that I would like a billet grill.
Thanks for the heads up on all the free mods. That's a good idea on searching those first. I will do just that.
As for pictures, let me put something on it to distinguish it from others than i will post some pictures.
