I bought my Silverado over a year ago, its a 2004 ccsb z71. Initial plans were to put that truck sky high on the biggest tires i could run. But lately ive been looking on this site for a while and after seeing what kind of power people can get out of these 5.3's i think thats what im gonna do. Im a college student with not a whole lot of money so progress will most likely be slow except for around christmas time! I want to start of with long tubes, cutouts while im at it and full exhaust that dumps over rear axle. Then an intake and prbly just the wheatley tune for now. eventually i want one of the tr220 or tr224 and heads to match with the associated valvetrain.

thanky guys, this is the reason i joined this site because everyone was friendly and they knew their stuff! I think im heading down to baytown with a buddy next friday to get a baseline before i start to mod.
