Default New in central NC

Just bought my first v8 truck a 2002 1500hd 4x4.

really didn't know there was such a performance network for these trucks.

Welcome to the forum! Those 1500HD's are nice trucks. There's plenty of goodies available for your truck no matter your plans for it. Share some pictures of it if you don't mind. The community enjoys pictures of fellow enthusiasts trucks.

Will probably add pictures in a bit, the wife has named it "farm truck" as its rough looking (243k)
in my research phase atm on "refreshing" the lq4 with a hi torque cam, tbss intake/injectors and larger throttle body.

Sounds good on the pictures. There's nothing wrong with a truck that's seasoned. Good idea with doing some research first. You have a good plan for refreshing the LQ4. Make sure to create a thread in the GM Engine & Exhaust section if you need any help.
