New from AR -- Question on pricing?
Hey guys,
I just signed up; I've lurked on this forum for quite some time without signing up, as I've always been in performance cars haha! But i'm looking to purchase a truck and i think i've found one, i'm just having a really tough time figuring out what is an acceptable price to pay for a used truck -- here is exactly whati'm wanting:
2014+ Silverado 1500 -- Crew Cab, 4x4, LT is fine for what i'm using it for. Any color is fine, mileage under 50k.
With that said, i've found a 2014 crew cab 4x4 with 39k miles on it. LT, with leather interior, it's in great shape, but carfax shows 18k miles were rental, the rest was a single owner -- They have it on the lot for 33k, i have them down to 31.5k out the door. The question of the hour: is this a good deal? Is there more room to move in these used trucks?
For validity's sake, here's a picture of my current daily -- 2015 Stingray
I greatly appreciate any feedback I could get!
Thanks,
Captain

That seems to be the running price around here too. Around 30k for a lower mileage 2014. Options play a big part in pricing too, seen several around 24-28k but they were basically work trucks with no extra's.
They haven't come down as fast yet. You can buy a 2011-2013 model year truck for under 25k no problem now. I payed less than 25k for my 2012 crew cab 1.5 years ago.
