A Nebraska Howdy!
#1
Been reading some great stuff on here the past few weeks so I thought I'd join up!
This is one of my toys. 2001 Chevrolet Suburban LT 2500 with the 8.1L 496ci V8 that uses a Whipple Supercharger, some MCI ignition goodies, upgraded fuel pump and filters, upgraded engine and tranny cooling, a mild tune, Magnaflow exhaust, with 13" custom calipers using Hawks Racing pads with the rears slotted and the fronts drilled. Custom rims are 17"X9" with spacers and I'm running a set of Yokohama Geolander A/T-S in 37"x12.5" for winter. Running the 145amp alternator with an 800amp battery currently, until I figure out where to mount a second battery.

The stock rear bag system was removed, springs upgraded, custom bump stops and steering stops, Hellwig sway bars front and rear, Bilstein shocks. The front suspension is all upgraded parts for the 5" lift.

Interior has all upgraded leather seating, door panels and door handles with French lacing. Audio is all Alpine featuring surround sound and prologic settings, 500 watts, 11 speakers with a pair on the rear pillers for the rear seating and a 12" subwoofer in the rear with a 12 disc cd changer. Video in the second row seating with the player mounted to the rear of the front center console, and inside the front console is the control panel for the amps and crossovers. Third row seating has it's on 12" video screen for gaming with Xbox, or any Playstation systems.

Painted in Mercedes Benz metallic silver with a clear coat on top. Bumpers have a black nickel finish, the rear bumper is narrowed and has a pair of lights frenched into the rear bumper for reverse duty. Up front the lower spoiler was painted silver to match, and the entire rig was debadged. Out front I have a set of PIAA driving lights mounted up, which I'm going to change soon. Need the front frame mounts...LOL!

Looking for a new set of rims to trail with and probably going to snag some 35" tires and 18" rims just for offroading. Got a spare tire holder to get and I'm looking at a roof rack and cross bar system.
Outstanding Interstate rig...drives very gentle, not a bumpathon at all! Decent performance off roading it so far, nothing to much...just 40mph over some fields around here. Going to price changing the gears to 4.10 and figure out what's next after that's done.
