Got some maint. done on the truck, threw in a vette servo and tb converter while I was at it, still needs plugs, wires & suspension

I just ordered some hoen endurance yellow bulbs for both her S4 and my GMC. I'm about to take a can of plastidip to the grill, chrome and rear diffuser but decided I ought to practice on the Big Black Truck of Injustice (she hates the knickname, inside joke with a buddy)

I used 2 cans of black plasti dip on the front & rear bumpers, grille & door moldings. Then about 1 can of Glossifer on the front bumper & grille. I'll probably hit the rear bumper too but leave the doors alone until I get paint matched handles.

scroll up for "before" pics

Next oil change, I'll be replacing the shocks too, probably Bilsteins. I'd like to get a rear swaybar too but we'll see.

I'd like to put springs & sway bars on the wife's car in the near future too.

My S4 has Penske Racing coilovers & Hotchkis sways

Up to date mod list:

22x9 Competition Grey Trailblazer SS wheels
OEM NNBS Denali Tires -FREE
OEM NNBS Denali rear shocks -FREE
Bilstein front shocks
Eibach rear shackles
OEM Yukon rear swaybar with poly bushings
Rear fender liners
Plasti-dipped bumpers, door moldings & grille
6-hi harness
OEM Denali Headlights
LED DRLs
LED Cree reverse lights
Hoen endurance yellow fogs
OEM Denali mirror caps -FREE
OEM Denali 3pc engine covers -FREE
Throttle body coolant bypass -FREE
4" eBay intake tube -FREE
Spectre panel filter
Modded OEM airbox -FREE
OEM Trailblazer converter
Vette Servo

Everything but the wheels was under or FAR under $100

I've got 5000k HIDs, clear/amber signals, OEM Denali Cluster & ported throttle body on the way.

I'd still like to do the DRL mod. I tried today but the "switchbacks" I got didn't switch.

I want to get it professionally buffed/waxed, OEM HD tailpipe, Denali dash trim, MTX box and at least a tune for now.

Eventually a turbo build would be ideal but I've got my S4 and my wife's S10 to worry about now. Fall is coming and Spring isn't far behind, time for fun car events!

Found out my whining noise wasnt the transmission pump after all, it was just the power steering pump, only at high rpms. $55 & a foot long corndog later, its gone!

Rear swaybar done, less than $85 using Energy bushing kit, zinc plated u-bolts, and pro-comp shock mounts.

Denali cluster, clear/amber signals, ported throttlebody and HIDS still in transit.

Finally got MY S4 back together. She and I made three 60ish-120ish pulls and were side by side the whole way.

I got to scratch something off my bucket list, my wife and I took BOTH our cars on a very spirited run during the Cars & Coffee Fall Drive event this past Saturday.

There were times we both got the cars loose around the same corner or were flying well over 100mph together with our Dinan E46 M3 friend. Good times!

Not a whole lot of news on the truck other than I still love it to death. Got a tailgate strut, ratcheting cargo bar & just ordered some flush mount cargo rings.

I'm going to try to install the 2014 cargo lights inside the bed.

Also it needs a water pump, its been slowly leaking.

Winter mode change over for the B5

Wife got her drag truck painted for Christmas, dont mind the IROCS, it runs M/T ET Streets & skinnies on Prostar drag wheels when its go time.

It fits

Installed the USP intake the other day ($100 off sale)

WOW, she was a little upset at me for spending the money on it, until we started driving around. We put 126mi on it that night. This blower SCREAMS now.
