Actually, it's 325.2!!! Long as u wanna be particular. But anywhere bewt. 323-327, I find acceptable. Point MADS was tryin to make, option codes are available, just gotta know what they mean.
CtyBarber, I forgot what yr u had. '09.
I don't know new option codes, if there are any. To my knowledge, what follows is accurate.
5.3 appeared in '99 on trucks - to present day.
5.3 RPO codes: Fe( short for iron) Alum(Al)
Gen3 Block Heads C/R Configuration
LM7 Fe Al 9.5
L59 " " " Flex
LM4 Al Al "
L33 Al Al 9.9
Note:All Gen 3 were 9.5 comp. ratio;starting w/. L33 - present Gen 4 are 9.9 c/r.
They went from '99-07.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now...
GEN 4 appeared '05-present. Certain RPO's began in different yrs. I won't speculate which RPO you have.
There were 6 different RPO's used. I'm not listing block or head material, since block material varied. Heads always alum.
Some were AFM, some were Flex, or both.
The 6 are:
LH6
LY5
LMG Again, all Gen 4 were 9.9 c/r.
LC9 From there, it's materials & configuration.
LH8
LMF
HP & TQ for both generations varies. Hope this helps, even if they won't line up like I want.
