Lurker finally introducing himself
Been just reading for a while.
I have a 2005 Tahoe, 5.3l we bought new. Black graphite, LS, tow package, Bose. I have installed 20" wheels off a 2008 Silverado, air bags in the rear coils, HID headlights and fog lights, tune, Flowmaster 3" exhaust.
Next up is a 6.0 liter engine. I have a spare set of 317 castings I will have ported for better flow and a new cam, & headers. Sticking with the stock intake for torque. Cam will be ground towards mid-range with a little on the top. Looking for 450 hp and 450 torque out of the 6.0.
After that will be some new body items. We take good care of it, but the LS package has those black plastic wheel well moldings, door handles, etc. I plan on swapping those out for painted ones.
We plan on keeping the truck for a long time.
